Cost per player for all 5 sessions: $50 (or $20 per session).
Rules: Modi ed Box Lacrosse Rules, Lacrosse (or Box) helmet &
Gloves required. Liability release form.

The compressors will be turned off and the ice removed the week of March 18th. Thanks to all the volunteers and participants that make the MSC a vibrant and vital community resource.

On Friday, November 30th, we received a call from Middlebury College. Their Zamboni Electric Model 552 was down and they had a Varsity Men's game scheduled that night vs. Connecticut College. They asked if they could borrow our Olympia. We had youth hockey and adult hockey sessions scheduled at the Memorial Sports Center that night as well.
Our backup machine was recently delivered to the Memorial Sports Center after refurbishment by the students at the Patricia Hannaford Career Center, but we had not had a chance to fit it up for use on the ice yet. It has brand new studded tires and wheels (we retired the old split rims) courtesy of Rouse Tire, Middlebury. Time to get busy!
The Olympia was put on a flatbed to be taken to the college. Bill and Mike got started on the Zamboni blade work. After an hour or so of effort, the machine was on the ice and our backup strategy tested and approved!
The Middlebury Panthers tied Connecticut College 3-3, and we only missed one resurfacing at the Memorial Sports Center.
